Oh Strawberry Milkshake Oreo’s…. I found you….again.

Last summer I found Strawberry Milkshake Oreo cookies at Target.   They were there and gone in a flash.   I couldn’t believe how good they were.  I just knew they had to be back again.

 

This summer I thought for sure that they would be back.   I looked and looked for them and never found them…. until yesterday that is. 

I went to a local grocery store and there they were, on the end of an isle.  I quickly grabbed one bag.

I know I should have bought more but I went in with a list, coupons, limited time and limited funds.

I thought how odd that I found them at the end of summer.  See them with a fall gourd display on my table?  I would have thought they were a summer treat.  Maybe they were there all summer… really I don’t think so.  I don’t think I would have missed them.  Ok, I don’t shop at that store every week but I’m sure I would have seen them if they were there.

Look at these cookies….

 

The filling seems to be softer than in regular Oreo’s, you can squeeze the cookies together and get a lovely smush,(Yep, smush is a word) of filling. 

Come to think of it, maybe that is why they didn’t stock them in the warm weather of summer.   I remember them really being soft and almost messy with the soft filling.  Maybe fall is a better time to have them, they won’t be as messy, but they still are good.

Limited edition Oreo’s how I love you.  

How many bags do you think I can buy and not get weird looks when I check out? 

Oh, maybe I better use self check out when I stock up.
