Lately with the heat I’ve been thinking of summer themed cards and I remembered a oldie but goodie stamp set that I’ve had for years.
I decided the lemonade stamp was perfect for a few fun cards.
This was the first card I made. I love it but only had one piece of this cardstock so I could only make one. I think I need to look through a cardstock pack I bought at Tuesday Morning yesterday to see if their is a similar color in the pack.
I liked this yellow patterned paper but somehow this card didn’t ‘pop’ as much as I’d like so only one of these too. I stamped the image on some adhesive cotton that I’ve been hoarding, hanging on to, for just the right project.
The image seems to ‘pop’ when I mounted it on some brown cardstock.
This image I colored a bit more subtle or muted. I think I like the brighter coloring a bit better but think I’ll be playing with this stamp for a bit and coloring it lots of different ways.
Now to go pour myself a cool glass of lemonade.
I don’t squeeze my own lemons, I’ll leave that to Minute Maid.
I do add a bit of lingonberry concentrate for an added berry treat.
If you want a fresh fruit drink add some watermelon, strawberries or whatever fruit you have on hand to make your own gourmet lemonade.
Enjoy your summer!
